Privacy Policy

Reqmunk is a Shopify app published by Munks LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Reqmunk app and the reqmunk.com website. The short version: we store the minimum needed to run the app for your store, and we never see your customers' personal information.

What we collect from merchants

When you install Reqmunk on your Shopify store, we store:

• your store's myshopify.com domain and an encrypted Shopify Admin API access token, so the app can read your product catalog and write its configuration to your store;
• the requirement sets you configure — the products and collections you pick, and the message shown to your shoppers;
• a record of the product metafields the app has written to your store, so it can keep them in sync and clean them up.

That's the whole list. We don't collect your orders, your customers, or your analytics.

What we never collect from shoppers

The Reqmunk storefront widget runs entirely in your shopper's browser and talks only to your own store's Shopify endpoints. Checkout enforcement runs on Shopify's infrastructure as a Shopify Function. Our servers never receive shopper names, emails, addresses, payment details, cart contents, or browsing activity.

How we use information

We use the data above to operate the app — syncing your requirement rules into your store — and to help you if you contact support. We don't sell data, and we don't share it with third parties for marketing.

Service providers

Reqmunk is hosted on Laravel Cloud, and app data is stored in its managed database in the United States. All storefront and checkout activity is processed by Shopify under Shopify's own privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall Reqmunk, Shopify sends us its shop/redact webhook (roughly 48 hours after uninstall) and we delete your store's data when it arrives. We also honor Shopify's customers/data_request and customers/redact webhooks — since we store no customer data, there is nothing to return or erase, and we respond accordingly. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, email us.

The reqmunk.com website

If you sign up for launch updates on reqmunk.com, we store the email address you give us and use it only for Reqmunk and Munks product announcements. Ask and we'll remove it. The site uses only essential cookies — no analytics or advertising trackers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us and we'll take care of it.
